Buildings antiquity and dates for inspections

On Novembre the 23rd 2010, (decree 187/201), the government approved the rules concerning the technical inspections of buildings. Mandatory reviews that all buildings will have to go through, including family homes, villas and apartments, depending on its age.

According to the state of the building, and its shortcommings, is determined the certification of suitable or not and the actions to be carried out.

Habitability permissions

The habitability permissions guarantees the compliance of the minimum levels required for the habitability in homes. They are delivered by the catalan government, according to the certificate issued by an architecte or technical architecte with the approval of the professional college.

In the same way, licenses have to be delivered through the town hall, in order to guarantee the fulfillment of the requirements for the development of their activities (shops, offices, etc.)
